Manager, Enterprise Content Management
Position Purpose
Manage and lead a subset of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team and associated content projects. Content Management is becoming a critical company asset by providing edited content to multiple audiences, both internal and external. The ECM team has acquired more responsibilities to support multiple channels and complex content needs. This position will be the point of contact for content decisions on workflow, staffing, and project assignments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage, develop, and lead Editors.
* Manage content projects including content management, content migration, and content repurposing
* Provide subject matter expertise on ECM concepts and frontline tools
* Manage and develop content workflow.
* Evaluate and implement checklist for content repurposing.
* Provide forecasting and staffing for all content-related projects (Customer Service and Sales).
* Attend and actively participate in content-related project calls to provide strategy and content publishing support.
* Collect and coordinate changes/impacts to ECM team.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners ( i.e.,) Knowledge Mgmt., Device Support & Services, M&P management, etc.)
* Take ownership of deliverables / milestones and tasks generated by projects.
* Deliver weekly high-level impacts and milestones to Senior Manager, ECM.
* Point of contact for assigned frontline tool(s)
Position Requirements
* Expertise with content knowledge base workflow, process, and procedures
* Expertise with supporting frontline tools
* Expertise with program development
* Expertise with content management processes and workflow
* Basic HTML or XML
* Understanding and application of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) concepts
Experience
* 3-5 years content management experience
* 1-2 years management or leadership experience
* 1-2 years project management experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Education and Training
Bachelors degree or 3-5 years related experience
