Broadcast/IS Technician
WSFA-TV has an immediate opening for a full-time Broadcast/IS Technician. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; Candidate will possess the ability to install, repair and maintain broadcast and computer hardware, perform software updates, and have the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Responsibilities will consist of repair, maintenance and technical support of electronic systems at the broadcast facility including hands on knowledge of LAN/WAN management or the equivalent in other formal technical training or educational achievements. Other related duties may be assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Prefer trade school, technical college, or military training in electronics and computers. Preference will be given to experience, academic / technical accreditation and FCC / SBE certification. Must be able to work professionally with other employees, and must be self starting and self motivated. The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
